WOYWW 86

Now before you say anything, this is my area when I first moved in back in the summer....Everything pretty neat and tidy and still very clean!  I spoke to you about my craft cabinet....did I tell you how very much I love this thing?  My husband had it built for me and it holds a world of STUFF!

Open the doors and this is what it hides!  My Mess!  Now I don't share these photos with just anybody.....so since I have shown you, I might just have to kill you!  When I see a picture like this, I always think of a saying my Grandmother always used....."Shabby but Neat".  She was referring to an apron with a patch on it, but she had starched and ironed it to perfection.  The moral of her story is no matter how little you have, keep it clean and neat.  I can close the doors on this cabinet and feel very neat!

This is my workdesk this morning.  I've been working on a birthday card for a boy.  Boys cards have always been a challenge for me.  You would think that having 4 Grandsons I would be very much into making their cards.  I love to send them cards, but they are still hard for me to make!

So there you have it....Just a little about my life, my journey, and my secrets.  Now if you want to become a part of this madness....just go here:  Stamping Ground   Take a little look around and link your own photos of what your workdesk looks like.  Don't be bashful, just jump in with both feet.  I just love to be nosey and look at all the pictures of what you have going on in your life!  We all have our own little messes and sharing is good for the soul!

Neat, don't know the meaning of it! Just close the drawer, cupboard etc and everything is fine lol!! Love your cupboard. Know what you mean about boy cards, don't think they would appreciate some flowers and glitz! Have a great day. Carolxx....75

I will just continue to look at your phot's on Wednesday! My room gets picked up then it's mess again. I spend hours reorganizing every year, the last of June, Ist of July when SU changes catalogs. I swear it does not take me a week to mess it up. I have a closet in the hall that I house all the non SU stuff and it is as neat as can be and I can find stuff. I just do not have enough places to organize all the SU stuff. I guess I need to get rid of some! Have a fun day!

I love your cabinet and they tell me my great grandma wore a starched white apron at all times. She also carried a cap and ball pistol in the pocket

Its a good job you live a long way away from me as I may have to come over and steal that jar of yummy buttons!

Have a great week

A lovely space and a nice busy desk! I'm intrigued though - what punches do you have lurking on your desk this week?

Good Idea to have a cupboard o hide it all, I close the door on mine but I know it'll still be there. Trouble is, when I tidy up I put things in different places hoping that will work, but then I forget their new place and have to hunt everthing out to find them again!. I can remember my gran's both having aprons on all he time, very rather saw them with out one.

I'm a big believer in hiding supplies behind closed doors too. Thanks for the peek inside.

Awesome cabinet...really takes care of the clutter. Our sweet little grandmas....they just had the basics always put to good use. I made many aprons for 4-H but my mother pitched things regularly can remember the checkered ones.I should have a few as messy as I get sometimes..Enjoy the day.

Thank you for visiting me this morning and thanks for such a lovely comment. I love your storage cupboard, made specially for you. Why is it that cards for men and boys are so hard to do?

Great storage cupboard. You're right about boys' cards being tough to make. Happy Wednesday, Judith xx

What a gem of a husband who will build a cabinet to store your treasures. And like magic, doors close and no craft supplies in sight. Love it - plus it looks so organized inside.

the cabinet is a great idea, once the doors are closed no one has a clue how much stuff is hiding inside. Good luck with the boy cards.

Lovely cabinet Glenda and it does indeed hold a world of stuff! And your Grandma was right too, you don't have to have loads of money or possessions to have a bit of pride do you? Busy desk today and I liked your story of WalMart money! Everything went very well yesterday, it took longer to drive there and back than the amount of time we spent in that building!

Love your store cupboard - as my mother would have said, it covers a multitude of sins. A bit like my little craft room - shut the door and you cannot see the chaos inside. I took at peek at your previous post and the box is very pretty, pretty and useful :) Elizabeth #60
